With Capcom Cup 11 now behind us, we can probably expect Capcom to be more willing to make balance adjustments to Street Fighter 6. However, it seems that Capcom is prioritizing other changes before making any battle adjustments.
Earlier today, Capcom announced that Street Fighter 6 servers will be offline for about two hours tonight starting at 9 p.m. PDT / 12 a.m. EDT. Capcom has outright stated that there won't be any adjustments that affect actual gameplay, but there were a couple of changes mentioned.
After the patch goes live, those in the Platinum and Diamond ranks will be able to benefit from playing well. After winning 10 or so matches in a row, these players will be awarded with a win streak bonus.
Additionally, an issue in the training mode is being fixed with this update. Previously, there were situations in which the player's selected colors would not be properly displayed.
Unfortunately, there still isn't any news regarding Elena in Street Fighter 6. Though many of us were expecting Capcom to drop a teaser for Elena at Capcom Cup 11, things didn't play out that way.
Check it all out below:
There will be no change in battle content, and the following game behavior updates will be made.
Ranked Match
- In Platinum and Diamond ranks, players who have won ten or more matches in a row will earn a win streak bonus.
Training Mode
- Fixed an issue where character colors were not properly applied.
Thank you for your patience and continued support.
